Finding the right words to begin this review is a challenge, much like starting a delectable meal. Firstly, allow me to introduce this gem of a restaurant – a Southern-style Chinese eatery specializing in authentic Shanghainese, Soochow, and Jiangnan（江南） cuisine. Yep! The same Jiangnan (江南) from its Chinese name: Jinshui Jiangnan（近水江南）.
Upon indulging in their dishes, I was immediately transported back in time. The flavors are nothing short of authentic, reminiscent of the cherished meals my parents and grandparents lovingly prepared during my youth.
Now, to address a potential concern: the price point. Admittedly, dining here comes with a higher cost. However, I’d venture to say that any hesitance towards the price is more a personal consideration than a fault of the restaurant itself. In Chinese, 如果觉得贵了，那是我自己（穷）的问题，不是餐馆的问题。The experience and the culinary journey offered are undoubtedly worth the investment, at least for me.
Recommended dishes: 响油鳝糊，红烧肉（任何版本的），酒酿圆子，面筋塞肉，生煎包。

服务员态度还可以，但是做的菜有点昧良心了，19块钱的半只酱鸭，里面四块都是这样的，问服务员如果你出去吃饭遇到这样的肉你会吃吗？回答也是不会，红烧肉百叶结忘记拍照了，基本全是肥的，卖34也就算了，也不是浓油赤酱，不是第一次来，基本每个月都来，这次让我极其失望，说可以退菜，我没退，只是希望下次吃相可以好看点，从来没说过你家菜贵，因为我觉得这个价格值得，但是今天的品控，路边摊都比你家强了，希望下次改正，还有你家的歌越来越难听，越来越吵了

目前大多地区最正宗的苏帮菜本帮菜，好吃！虽然价格较一般餐馆贵一些，但确实物有所值！

迫不及待地要给好评！ 在加拿大吃到的最正宗的上海菜馆。没有之一。小笼值得给最高评价，本地面粉发挥了Q弹的口感，肉馅绝对新鲜，调味绝对正宗。荠菜大馄饨鲜咸，汤汁清淡，非常平衡了味觉。梅香排骨是下饭的榔头。生煎是发面的，和上海生煎还是有点不同。如果可以的话我给5.5🌟。
9.12 今天又来了。面筋塞肉值得品尝。
