Finding the right words to begin this review is a challenge, much like starting a delectable meal. Firstly, allow me to introduce this gem of a restaurant – a Southern-style Chinese eatery specializing in authentic Shanghainese, Soochow, and Jiangnan(江南) cuisine. Yep! The same Jiangnan (江南) from its Chinese name: Jinshui Jiangnan(近水江南).

Upon indulging in their dishes, I was immediately transported back in time. The flavors are nothing short of authentic, reminiscent of the cherished meals my parents and grandparents lovingly prepared during my youth.

Now, to address a potential concern: the price point. Admittedly, dining here comes with a higher cost. However, I’d venture to say that any hesitance towards the price is more a personal consideration than a fault of the restaurant itself. In Chinese, 如果觉得贵了,那是我自己(穷)的问题,不是餐馆的问题。The experience and the culinary journey offered are undoubtedly worth the investment, at least for me.

Recommended dishes: 响油鳝糊,红烧肉(任何版本的),酒酿圆子,面筋塞肉,生煎包。

服务员态度还可以,但是做的菜有点昧良心了,19块钱的半只酱鸭,里面四块都是这样的,问服务员如果你出去吃饭遇到这样的肉你会吃吗?回答也是不会,红烧肉百叶结忘记拍照了,基本全是肥的,卖34也就算了,也不是浓油赤酱,不是第一次来,基本每个月都来,这次让我极其失望,说可以退菜,我没退,只是希望下次吃相可以好看点,从来没说过你家菜贵,因为我觉得这个价格值得,但是今天的品控,路边摊都比你家强了,希望下次改正,还有你家的歌越来越难听,越来越吵了

目前大多地区最正宗的苏帮菜本帮菜,好吃!虽然价格较一般餐馆贵一些,但确实物有所值!

迫不及待地要给好评! 在加拿大吃到的最正宗的上海菜馆。没有之一。小笼值得给最高评价,本地面粉发挥了Q弹的口感,肉馅绝对新鲜,调味绝对正宗。荠菜大馄饨鲜咸,汤汁清淡,非常平衡了味觉。梅香排骨是下饭的榔头。生煎是发面的,和上海生煎还是有点不同。如果可以的话我给5.5🌟。
9.12 今天又来了。面筋塞肉值得品尝。

江南菜做得不错,江南菜的甜、淡口味都拿捏得很好,水煎包也做得不错,价格偏高
