Finding the right words to begin this review is a challenge, much like starting a delectable meal. Firstly, allow me to introduce this gem of a restaurant – a Southern-style Chinese eatery specializing in authentic Shanghainese, Soochow, and Jiangnan(江南) cuisine. Yep! The same Jiangnan (江南) from its Chinese name: Jinshui Jiangnan(近水江南).

Upon indulging in their dishes, I was immediately transported back in time. The flavors are nothing short of authentic, reminiscent of the cherished meals my parents and grandparents lovingly prepared during my youth.

Now, to address a potential concern: the price point. Admittedly, dining here comes with a higher cost. However, I’d venture to say that any hesitance towards the price is more a personal consideration than a fault of the restaurant itself. In Chinese, 如果覺得貴了,那是我自己(窮)的問題,不是餐館的問題。The experience and the culinary journey offered are undoubtedly worth the investment, at least for me.

Recommended dishes: 響油鱔糊,紅燒肉(任何版本的),酒釀圓子,麵筋塞肉,生煎包。

服務員態度還可以,但是做的菜有點昧良心了,19塊錢的半隻醬鴨,裡面四塊都是這樣的,問服務員如果你出去吃飯遇到這樣的肉你會吃嗎?回答也是不會,紅燒肉百葉結忘記拍照了,基本全是肥的,賣34也就算了,也不是濃油赤醬,不是第一次來,基本每個月都來,這次讓我極其失望,說可以退菜,我沒退,只是希望下次吃相可以好看點,從來沒說過你家菜貴,因為我覺得這個價格值得,但是今天的品控,路邊攤都比你家強了,希望下次改正,還有你家的歌越來越難聽,越來越吵了

目前大多地區最正宗的蘇幫菜本幫菜,好吃!雖然價格較一般餐館貴一些,但確實物有所值!

迫不及待地要給好評! 在加拿大吃到的最正宗的上海菜館。沒有之一。小籠值得給最高評價,本地麵粉發揮了Q彈的口感,肉餡絕對新鮮,調味絕對正宗。薺菜大餛飩鮮咸,湯汁清淡,非常平衡了味覺。梅香排骨是下飯的榔頭。生煎是發麵的,和上海生煎還是有點不同。如果可以的話我給5.5🌟。
9.12 今天又來了。麵筋塞肉值得品嘗。

江南菜做得不錯,江南菜的甜、淡口味都拿捏得很好,水煎包也做得不錯,價格偏高
